Mobilis Performance

Intelligent TrainingAt Mobilis Performance™ we are committed to providing state of the art, evidence based training and education for coaches and sports, fitness and health professionals. We have collated information from the worlds leading researchers with work of our own, and put it onto a modular system that can be taught to professionals to help their exercise programming.

The science of Mobilis Performance

We have performed more than 4,000 biomechanical tests on sports people and have identified the most relevant manual tests that correlate highest with the gold standard tests performed in a laboratory when looking at the key biomechanical factors that relate to performance and injury.

This has now evolved into a range of simple manual tests which link to a series of exercises that help to eradicate any mechanical weakness which reduce the risk of injury and improve functional performance. This work has been complimented by work from the world’s renowned researchers such as Professors Stuart McGill and Serge Gracovetsky from Canada, Professors Twomey & Taylor from Australia, Nick Barrow a Clinical biomechanist from the UK and Professors Mike Stone and Jeff McBride from USA, among others.

Mobilis Performance products

We have developed a series of training courses in our Intelligent Training™ range. These courses focus on topics such as injury prevention, optimal performance and back Injury management, and also include subjects like: stretching and flexibility, functional analysis of movement, understanding group action of muscles and its relevance to sports performance and the latest in advancements in trunk conditioning.

Who are the Mobilis Performance courses for?

The courses are aimed at sports coaches, personal trainers, fitness instructors, sports therapists, occupational health nurses, strength and conditioning coaches, complimentary therapists, P.E teachers, aerobics teachers and other studio based exercise tutors. Some of these professions are very well educated in how to teach exercises. The courses we provide are designed to compliment and build on this knowledge and improve their understanding of how to calculate which exercises to prescribe and when to prescribe them.

Mobilis Performance endorsement

The courses are highly and recommended and endorsed by UK Athletics and we are running the programme though UK Athletics at the moment.

In the fitness industry the first course is endorsed for continuing professional development for qualified fitness instructors, the content of the course is linked / mapped to parts of the level 3 Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise National Occupational Standards and may be used as supporting evidence if an instructor is working towards an NVQ. This course provides the framework and basis of the other parts of the series and the individual courses that we provide. The introductory one-day course has been accredited with eight CPD points.

It is our intention that these courses and education systems are made available to the widest number of people possible. We are linking in with companies like UK Athletics and Gilbert who are our clothing suppliers, who we believe will help us achieve this goal. We are looking to expand our partner list.
