During the hour long broadcast Dr Dawn spoke to two women about exercising their pelvic floor muscles with the use of the pelvic floor conditioning products Educator and Aquaflex.

Weakened pelvic floor muscles can be caused by pregnancy, ageing and obesity. The pelvic floor muscles are the muscles between your legs, from your pubic bone in the front to the base of your spine at the back. The simplest way to imagine your pelvic floor muscles is as a sling. This sling holds your bladder and urethra; it’s these muscles that control your bladder. Like any muscle in the body it needs exercising to keep it in tip-top condition. By doing your pelvic floor exercises daily for 3 months you will see a significant improvement. It is important to make sure you’re doing them right so you don’t waste your time or worse cause injury. [Is this bit really necessary – don’t want people to get bored reading]. The Aquaflex was designed by physicians and physiotherapists; the Aquaflex gives you two vaginal cones and a set of weights. Simply place weights in the cone, then insert the cone into your vagina.
